Words of comfort from friends help so much on these days. It's like receiving a telegraph from shore reassuring us that calmer seas are ahead and that we are not alone. We grasp on to your love and care and they give us hope that we will make it through. Every word and every prayer matters to us.
So thank you for your words and thoughts the past couple of days. Your love has surrounded us in the stormy seas of grief.
Jonah 1:6
So the shipmaster came to him, and said unto him, What meanest thou, O sleeper? arise, call upon thy God, if so be that God will think upon us, that we perish not.

And we still do surround you.
Hold tight to the mast, it will take a few days for the storm to even lighten up. Promises for better days seem to far for now. You can see land but can't seem to get there. All of Joey is surrounding you now and that is alright. Lovin You Sharon
You are in our hearts, as is your Joey.
And Jesus is the light house.
Hold On this too shall pass...Love and Hugs!
Thanks for sharing your heart. Many thoughts and prayers are going up for you. Love, Jeri
"... weeping may endure for a night, but joy comes in the morning" (from somewhere in the Bible) :)
Karen I am having a rare moment with Ciara in the cafeteria of the hospital. She is on your blog and commenting to me that you should write a book as you are so gifted in expression and word. We are there with you in feeling your pain and sorrow, your devastation of Joey's loss. You should find a publisher and seriously market your thoughts and feelings as I believe God speaks through you in the midst of your pain and sorrow. We love you so much and our heart and tears are with you. Love, Kandi & Ciara!
