Here's Peggy rowing like there's nothing she'd rather be doing. She radiates happiness. She's smiling like she's laying on a beach in the Caribbean! Sheesh! By the way, for you observant readers, that IS Gunther in the background. He's parked in front of Jaime's house right now--for sentimental reasons.
Here the Crossfit Chicks are flexing their muscles to scare you all. Despite all the pink in these pics, I can assure you these girls are tougher than nails! These are the famous southern Steel Magnolias you've heard so much about--all girly on the outside, all sinew on the inside. Be afraid, be very afraid.

Steel magnolias indeed! Lovely steel magnolias!
I think I should start calling Elis and Jeri our Steel Pikakes - what d'ya think? ;)
HAH, good one Mom. Glad you came back to the dark side.
Karen are you serious! That is a bunch of truly awsome ladies. How can I join??? Is the first picture of Joe in Colorado by chance? I had a good day. First in many days. Each day at a time, right. Loving your blog, loving that you share time for me.
Love Sharon
You have a beautiful family and I enjoyed reading about them. I was looking at the last couple of post. You are an excellent mother to all your children both here and in heaven.
I've got to get my rear in shape as gardening is just not enough.
Very cute that Gunther travels and gives comfort where he parks. How very clever. You should continue that and post at least once a week with Gunther somewhere in the photo.
Good for you Karen! Glad you're back at it with the Crossfit ladies. Looks like Jaime has a nice set up there. I miss our Crossfit Maui days together.
Love,
Jeri
