Beautiful Baby Marek Joseph

We paid a SURPRISE visit to see Adam and Stephanie's new baby boy. Adam was working outside on his garage when we showed up, and Stephanie and Marek were asleep. Nice of us to disturb all that domestic tranquility unannounced, don't you think!

In our defense, we had tried to call but our message got garbled, and we were leaving town and baby Marek Joseph was already 10 days old and we needed to see that little boy before he was all grown up! You see, they named him after our son.

We are incredibly touched by this act of love on Adam and Stephanie's part. A living memorial to our son.

Isn't he a handsome little guy?!
A picture of serenity...sleeping so peacefully in Papa's arms...

Nursing so comfortably in his mother's arms...

Waaaahhh! Oh my! What did you do Nana?
Okay! Back to mama!

We love you Adam and Stephanie, and little Marek Joseph. Thanks so much for loving and comforting our family, and for being there for us this year.
You two are awesome!

A friend loves at all times and a brother is born for adversity.

I love that photo of baby Marek Joseph with the word HOPE :)

And Nana Karen, he looked like he's yawning, than crying - had you not tell, we wouldn't know :)

Marek is a very cool name and of course Joseph which is my son's middle name---so I very much like that part. Looks like they were proud to show him off and didn't want miss you coming through.

I remember domestic bliss when my kids first came home from the hospital. With our first child, we were living on an AF base with lots of other young couples with all of us learning to cook.

A good recipe got passed around quickly. The week my son was born it was tuna casserole. While me and Mr D were enjoying a moment of peace and family----the neighbors starting arriving and bringing dinner to help me recuperate.

We got 10 tuna casseroles and I can't eat tuna to this day cause of that.

Hugs to ya---and I love you lots and lots too!

I forget to change my site when I publish my comment. You know I'm at wordpress and not blogger---that was/is a blog about my shed which I have/am/never will finish.
