Isabel waves to her friends. She's a little embarrassed by the whole orchestra thing. I keep saying she should be proud. Not many people can play a violin.

Jesus said to her, "I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in me will live, even though he dies..." Jn 11:25
“God’s will was not hidden somewhere ‘out there’ . . . the situations [in which I found myself] were his will for me. What he wanted was for me to accept these situations as from his hands, to let go of the reins and place myself entirely at his disposal.”
Jesuit Walter Ciszek’s (1904–1983)

Our middle school granddaughter is in orchestra too, plays the viola. She really enjoys it. Got a new school shirt that says "I'm an orcha-dork". Have to love it. One of her younger sisters is named Isabel!
Have a blessed day!

What a beautiful girl she is, and how wonderful that she is playing the violin. I love your image of middle-school music teachers as monks, keeping the arts alive. I imagine they feel a little bit like that, at times!
She is so cute, glad you got to be part of it! Jake is still
playing his ukulele and loving to sing. We aren't to proud of our grandchildren are we???? xoxo Sharon
