Fearless is my word for the year.
To stop being so afraid.
To enter into the danger open and without loathing.
To see that I am not the whole story
But I am privileged to be part of the story.
And when it's finally told
That I wasn't so afraid that I didn't really live
Or love fully.
Or love fully.
Faith is my detour for fear.

GREAT word!
Love it. You will be fine with the outlook you have for the New Year. Leave it at the foot of God and be fearless. You are so wonderful. Love Sharon
"privileged to be part of the story"---beautiful.
I love this. Good for you! Though I never met him in the flesh, to me, it sounds like something your Joey would say.
I love this to. It goes along with you planning on not worrying this year and just trusting God. xoxo Sharon
We too lost a son to a sudden and unexplained passing, right in front of our eyes, at age 12. Daniel did not have epilepsy and is theorized to have passed from a sudden heart rhythm disturbance, despite a clean autopsy.
This is his blog:

We are also on a farm in Virginia.
I am so sorry for your loss. Hugs to you both.
