Shaun White and the Olympics

It's been fun watching Shaun White win Olympic gold for his snowboarding acrobatics. He's an amazing guy, extremely talented and likable--with a personality as bright as that red mane of hair. In the last year of my son's life, Shaun White was his client in a marketing alliance with Red Bull. Joey created marketing campaigns for both the man and the product and spent some time in Aspen doing promotions for Shaun during the X-Games. Tonight my husband commented that the dozens of guitar picks with Sean White's logo, designed by our son, might be a hot item on E-bay.

Not that we are selling.

Just another reminder that our son has moved on to bigger and better things.

What a talented young man Joey was, with such a long reach. He accomplished a great deal in his life, and I really enjoy it when you tell us things like this about him. Thank you for sharing that. I'd love to see a photo of the logo, if you don't mind putting one up here...or a photo of one of the guitar picks.

I agree with the other Karen, love to see one! Isn't it fun to talk about the things that make us smile
Have been trying to do that with our Angie. It is so hard to move past sorrow at times the good things seem to energize me at least
Always enjoy the way you share things. Joey was a treasured son I can tell.

No-WAY!!!! Just like that---you say it casually---Ha! wait till I tell my boys! Now isn't that Joey living strong!!!! Boy howdy. What a moment when Shaun was flying high and you were too knowing Joey was part of that moment. I love it.
